No Easy Way to Centralize Records
Skyline Urology relies on a Electronic Health Records system called UroChart. UroChart is accessed continually by up to 150 users a day across 25 different practices. Most locations ran their own server infrastructure meaning disparate support and no easy way to centralize records and data across the business. Performance varied significantly from practice to practice and overall satisfaction was low. UroChart had never been deployed into a cloud environment before. Over 3 million patient files needed to be stored securely under HIPAA compliance.

Reducing the Current Server Footprint
Estimates for non-cloud based solutions required $100,000 in upfront investment. Onica was able to propose a CAPEX free design within AWS significantly reducing the current server footprint. Onica rapidly provisioned the infrastructure, migrated data to the cloud and created a Microsoft Remote Application Publishing solution for UroChart. The new architecture has provided high availability and security. After Onica completed the cloud migration, Skyline Urology engaged with us for AWS Managed Services.
