The Los Angeles Business Journal named Onica’s CTO, Tolga Tarhan, as the 2019 CTO of the Year for IT Service Partners. The annual list recognizes the finest IT leadership minds and highlights those who are pioneers in the technology industry. Tarhan was recognized for his efforts in pushing innovation and driving strategy, as Onica experienced over 1,760% in growth last year to become one the largest exclusively focused Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN) Premier Consulting Partners.
As Chief Technology Officer, Tarhan leads technological innovation for Onica and many of our customers. Additionally, Tarhan provides AWS thought leadership through his recurring video series, Tolga Talks Tech, where he tackles technical topics related to AWS and cloud computing for customers. Tarhan has also been involved in numerous speaking engagements at AWS events, as well as taking the stage at re:Invent 2018 to talk about AWS IoT Events, a fully managed IoT service designed to easily detect and respond to events from IoT sensors.
